9:30 - 10:30pm (Spectrum Headliners)

Crossing the boundaries between the live scene and the club scene Tokyoblu are at once a club night, a DJ duo and an 7 piece band. Its the 7 piece band that we have at Spectrum.
The last year has seen a crop of universally excellent press and radio reviews comparing Tokyoblu’s live band to the likes of Basement Jaxx, Groove Armada, The Gossip and The Greenskeepers. Whilst probably fair and definitely inspiring comparisons as Tokyoblu certainly have some of the same elements and influences as all of these bands, they still remain uniquely Tokyoblu with a dynamite stage show and a huge sound which is uniquely formed to take the dance-floor apart time-after-time and indeed which at times simply defies pigeon-holing.
