Shoreditch London

Shoreditch is situated in the London borough of Hackney, and is growing in popularity as a weekend destination. Cheaper than the city centre, though only 2.5 miles away, there are many hotels, bars and restaurants to suit all tastes and pockets. There is a mainline station in Shoreditch, but depending on where you are travelling from you may have to change in London and catch the tube out to Shoreditch, which is in zone 2.

The easy commute into London means that more and more visitors to the capital are taking rooms in Shoreditch and other surrounding areas to keep down the cost of their visit. (more…)

Red Tram in Prague

One of the most stunning Gothic cities in the world, Prague attracts visitors from across the globe to enjoy the hospitality and culture of the capital of the Czech Republic. One thing you need to bear in mind when planning your trip is that there are two Prague’s, the tourist Prague and the real Prague.

The city is absolutely bursting with things to do and sights to see, so get your walking shoes on to stroll through the cobbles streets and really explore as much as you can in the time that you are there. There are many tours that will take you around the city, but the best way to find undiscovered treasures is by foot. It might be a welcoming bar, or intimate restaurant tucked away, or a little jazz club that has an innocuous exterior.
